Luke- 10 months!

I'm a little late on this one, but Luke turned 10 months old on the 14th!  This past month he has been busy, busy.  I mean, everywhere!  Pulling up is no match for him and he's trying to stand unassisted.  His wobbly legs get the best of him, but he's doing so great! I can't WAIT til he can walk.  I'm gonna be one proud mama!  Well, I already am. ;)  He makes all kinds of sounds and has started to mimic us a tad. The thought of him getting so big had me a little emotional the other day.  Everyone says it goes fast, but you can't really understand that until you start experiencing it for yourself.  It's a bittersweet thing watching my child grow.  I want him to of course, but I also know I can never get that time back.  Only memories. (and pictures.. LOTS of pictures!)

We had the privilege of having Bobby, Kimberly and Noah in town for Mother's day weekend.  We also had Luke's baby dedication at church.  They do this every Mother's Day and there were 17 babies dedicated. That's just crazy to me.  God is blessing with fruitfulness in our church- praise Him!

Luke said 'mama' for the first time on May 11!  I thought it was quite fitting for Mother's day weekend.  It absolutely melted my heart.  Now we're working on 'dada', since we can't leave him out. :)

He still eats 4 bottles a day of around 8 ounces and gets "big boy food" with 3 of those meals.  He goes to bed around 8 and sleeps anywhere from 12-14 hours straight through.

Luke we love you so much and are so proud of you!  We couldn't be more thankful for you and for the Lord giving you to us!
