Luke's interest in his world has gotten so fine-tuned this month. He's been working on crawling the last several weeks. Today, he's officially crawling! What was a lot of rocking and squirming across the floor has turned into complete crawling. Last night, I was enticing him with my phone to come to me. Today, he needs no enticement. He's particularly interested in the cable box with the pretty lights! ;) I'm amazed at his ability to crawl and lean over to sitting all in one motion. He's just our big, growing, sweet baby. I can't believe we're at this point, already!! Bittersweet, for sure!
We've been trying to teach him to clap his hands, give kisses, and say a few words. None of them successfulyl..hehe. I'm sure he'll get there in no time.
I feel like we'll be celebrating his first birthday in no time. Daddy wants a Toy Story theme..lol. Daddy also likes to pass off having a little boy as his excuse for browsing the toy aisle. Specifically Nerf guns..lol. Oh man.. ;)
Luke eats 4 bottles a day still, with solid food as well. Anything from fruits, yogurt, meats, anything off mommy's plate, and we've been trying finger foods. He hasn't quite made the connection that these things are food. We'll keep trying. :)
Off to take a nap! had a SUPER busy night at work last night.

What a cutie! Crawling is so fun...the beginning of their mobile-ness :> Can NOT believe he is already 8 months old. Didn't we just talk on the phone YESTERDAY after you had him??!
I know, for real!! I'm in shock at how fast time is flying. I guess it's always been this way, but it seems more noticeable with a little one around the house! It's gonna start getting more interesting around here, for sure!
